Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of solar residential, borehole installation, irrigation system setup, shade nets and water storage services (the “Services”) by Raylight Sound Realtors (Pty) Ltd (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) to the customer (“Client” or” you”). By engaging our Services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2.1. The Company provides solar residential, borehole installation, irrigation system design and installation, water storage reservoirs manufacture and installation and shade nets installation.
2.2. All Services will be performed based on the agreed specifications and timelines.
2.3. Any additional work outside the agreed scope may result in extra charges.

3.1. Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
3.2. A deposit of 90% is required before work commences, with the balance due upon completion.
3.3. Payments must be made via EFT to our business account. Late payments may incur additional charges.

4.1. The Client must provide the necessary access to the site for assessments, installation and maintenance.
4.2. The Client is responsible for obtaining any required permits or approvals unless otherwise agreed.
4.3. The Client must ensure that the site is free of obstructions and hazards before work begins.
4.4. The Client must have reliable supply of water on site, so that the RSR products can be commissioned once the installation is complete.
4.5. Failure to fill the reservoir (min 25% of capacity) once the reservoir is installed, risks the reservoirs structural integrity and could result in damage to the product
4.6. It is the customers obligation to ensure that the reservoir is filled with sufficient water to ensure its structural integrity.

5.1. The Company will perform all work professionally and in compliance with industry standard.
5.2. The Company is not liable for delays caused by unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, site access issues, or regulatory approvals.
5.3. If additional work is required due to unforeseen site conditions, the Client will be informed and costs will be adjusted accordingly.
Standing Time: An additional daily rate of P1500 / day may be charged if:
5.4. There are any delays in getting access to site, which are out of the control of RSR.
5.5. The customer has agreed to supply / install or initiate any of the works required for the
project and the supply of which delays the installation, once the customer has given RSR the instruction to commence works.
5.6. The products supplied, or the installation does not comply with the quantity / quality that is required to complete the works efficiently. Should RSR be required to leave

6.1. The Company provides a 6-month warranty on installed electronic equipment such as inverters, submersible motors & pumps, batteries excluding third-party products.
6.2. The warranty does not cover damages due to improper use, lack of maintenance, natural disasters or third-party interference.
6.3. The company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.
6.4. All workmanship relating to manufacturing processes of the reservoir supplied carries a 12-month warranty.
6.5. All warranty claims will include an assessment on due wear and tear and where a customer has been found to have mistreated / misused the manufactured products, the warranty may be forfeited.
6.6. Top Cover Maintenance – it is important to tension the Top cover at least every second month – as illustrated during the installation. Failure to maintain the top cover, could result in damage due to inclement weather.
6.7. It is important to ensure that your reservoir maintains a constant level of water. The reservoir is structurally dependent on the having water in it. It is recommended that the reservoir has a minimum of 25% capacity of water in it at all times.

 

7.1 The standard manufacturing time is 14-working days (5-day working week)
7.2 Installations and services are negotiated on a job-by-job basis.
7.3 All time frames are subject to the efficient processing of customer payments.
7.4 All time frames are subject to:
7.4.1 The availability of raw materials
7.4.2 Other related manufacturing factors, which may or may not be out of RSR control.
7.5 Where ever possible, RSR will ensure that products and services are delivered in accordance to agreed time frames, however:
7.5.1 Any costs incurred by the customer, relating to delays in product / service delivery, will not be covered by RSR.

8.1 Any cancellation of orders must be made in writing
8.2 The minimum charge for the cancellation of the order, is 10%
8.3 Any orders that are cancelled where:
8.3.1 The product has been manufactured in full.
8.3.2 The product has been specifically manufactured to the customers specifications will not be accepted, unless otherwise agreed by management.

The Company shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions or supply chain disruptions.
